What a sweetie!

Brooks and I went on our first bike ride last Saturday. We went to the Ranches in Eagle Mountain and back. It was way fun going but when we started on our way back the worst wind storm EVER came! Seriously it was bad. Lets put it this way, going to the Chevron in the Ranches took me a half and hour, coming back it took an hour and a half! Brooklynn was not happy by the end of that ride, I wasen't either. . .I better check the weather next time I go. . .Whoops!

Happy St. Paddy's Day!!!

We loved St. Patrick's Day because it was so dang warm! We didn't do anything to special. I babysat for a friend in the morning so Brooklynn got to play with her friends and eat green cookies. . .yum. Then it was such a pretty day Brooks and I went for a walk to the playground. Her very favorite thing at the playground was the bark covering the ground. . .silly girl.

Valentines day

St. George

We went to St. George for a couple days a few weeks ago. Just Dave, me and Brooklynn. It was actually warm so we were totally lazy and just lounged around outside, what more could you ask for!

Make-up

Today when I was getting ready for the day Brooklynn wanted to play with all my makeup so I decided it would be fun to put a little on her to see what she thought. She just sat there and smiled while I did it. Of course she didn't care what she looked like, she just wanted to play with my blush brush. She sure looked cute though. . .he he

Christmas and New Year's

Dave had a bunch of days off so we got to play for the holidays. We had so much fun being with family for the holidays. We miss my dad, brother, Bethany, and Weston so stinking much already but at least we got some adorable pictures we can look at until we see them again. Hopefully that will be soon! Laura invited us up to her family's cabin for New Year's and we had a blast! The kids LOVED sledding! Talia and I went on a sled and totally biffed it, I wish we could have got a picture of that. I did my first face plant. Brooklynn couldn't even move in her snowsuit, it was adorable.

!!!SNOW!!!

FINALLY! We have been pretty lucky in the snow department this year. We have had only one or two snow stroms this year but finally we had a big one on Tuesday morning! Just in time for Christmas, it better not melt. Brooklynn wasen't old enough last year to remember the snow, so I thought it would be cute to see what she thought. She seemed to like it, what do you think? She was laughing and having a ball until she did a face plant into the snow, she was definetly not happy with me for letting that happened, but man it was cute!

Sticky situation!

Now that Brooks has been moving around like crazy she keeps getting herself in some funny predicaments!

This time of year I'm always reminded of the things I am thankful for. I have been thinking back on the past 12 months. I can't believe the amazing things that have come to Dave and I. Dave has been working so hard with school and work and it is finally paying off. He has kept a positive attitude with his work and he has been doing very well. He is on the verge of graduating. . .Yeah! That is such a big accomplishment and I am so proud of him. And of course Brooklynn has been such a blessing to us. She is a wonderful addition to our family.
My favorite thing about being married to Dave is that I can wake up every morning to my Best Friend! And now I wake up to my two best friends. I am so grateful for what I have!
I am getting so excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It gives me an excuse to be with both Dave and my family more. My dad, Cole, Bethany, and Weston are coming for Christmas and I cannot wait. I really think that saying is true, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder", because I really miss them. I miss all my family I don't see them as much and hopefully the holidays will help with that.
